Chris Grindz is an American rapper, vocalist, songwriter, record producer and skateboarder.
Born and Raised in St. Louis Missouri, Chris has become “one of the city’s go-to rappers for touring hip-hop artists. He has opened for Freddie Gibbs, Young Dolph, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Durk, and more.” - Kevin C Johnson, St. Louis Post Dispatch
Chris made a name for himself free-styling in local cipher sessions at Blank Space located in South City of St. Louis. “He's known to enter a cipher and steal the show” & is “one of the town's most valid up-and-coming MCs” - Tef Poe, Riverfront Times
Chris won the Award for Best “Hip Hop Male” at the 2017 St. Louis Underground Music S.L.U.M.Fest Awards Show following the release of his debut EP “Danger Room”. By the end of the year he met “Tony Hawk”, started running a Skateshop and opened up for the now Grammy Award Winning “21 SAVAGE”.
Grindz has continued performing live at events in his city and has hosted a number of Skateboarding contest in his community. He even had a hand in getting a new Skatepark built in St. Louis, Maplewood Skatepark.
